CYBERSECURITY AND AI GOVERNANCE
(LAWP-4070) - 1 UNIT

This course explores the corporate attorney's role and obligations to the C-Suite and Board of Directors in the event of a cybersecurity breach or AI incident at a client?s company. Through professor lecture, in-class drafting exercises and visits from prominent guest speakers, students will learn the following skills in this course: developing an both a Cybersecurity and AI Governance Program and the Board Strategy for Cybersecurity and AI oversight; making presentations to the C-Suite and Board of Directors before, during and after an AI or cybersecurity incident; understanding Technology, AI and Cybersecurity insurance policies; protecting communications under the attorney client privilege during an AI or Cybersecurity incident.

Students who enroll in this course will not be permitted to enroll in Cyber Risk Management & Incident Response. Students who have taken Cyber Risk Management & Incident Response may not enroll in this course.
