ENTERTAINMENT MOOT COURT
(LAWO-7061) - 2 UNITS

The Entertainment Law Intramural Moot Court Competition is a pass/fail two unit course designed to (1) introduce students interested in either Entertainment Law and/or Moot Court to the process of appellate advocacy via a problem current in Entertainment Law, and (2) select the team who will compete in the 2019-2020 Pepperdine (Los Angeles) and BMI (New York) Entertainment Moot Court competitions. Participating students will receive an Entertainment Law-based problem, draft an appellate brief, and then compete in an oral argument competition against their classmates. The prevailing students will be invited to join the Loyola Law School Entertainment Law Moot Court Team and compete in the Pepperdine Entertainment Law Moot Court Competition in Fall 2019 and the BMI Moot Court Competition held at the Benjamin Cardozo Law School in New York City in the Spring 2020.
