LAW ASIA MOOT COURT

LAWASIA is a regional Bar Association with members from 24 countries in Asia and the Western Pacific. Its goal is to advocate law reform and the protection of individual rights within the region. In connection with its annual meeting, LAWASIA sponsors a student moot for laws schools within the region. Loyola Law School is the only US law school to have been invited to participate in this moot creating a unique opportunity for our students, especially for those with some connection - cultural or otherwise - to that area, to compete with students from the LAWASIA region. The 2007 Moot was held in Hong Kong; the 2008 Moot in Kuala Lumpur and the 2009 Moot is schedule for Ho Chi Min City.
