HOTEL DEVELOPMENT AND OWNERSHIP - COMPREHENSIVE STUDY IN REPRESENTING OWNERS

Hospitality - always creative. This course teaches students how to represent hotel developers and owners in the various aspects of developing, acquiring and operating hotels. The course will take students, step by step, through the development of a hotel and will touch on relevant areas of law, including organizational structuring, equity and debt capitalization, franchise, construction, third-party management & sales, and insurance. Students will also work with typical agreements relevant to hotel acquisition, development, and operation.
