REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS PRACTICE
(LAWL-4019) - 2 UNITS

The goals of the Real Estate Transactions Practice are to introduce students to the legal concepts and basic agreements involved in common real estate transactions and to provide students with practical experience reviewing, negotiating and drafting these agreements. The course is structured around a hypothetical real estate company that receives loans to purchase and develop a parcel of real property in California, leases and manages the property and eventually must workout the loan on the property. Each class will include a combination of lecture/presentation to introduce students to the relevant legal concepts and hands-on activities to allow the students to gain practical experience with these concepts.
