INTENSIVE WRITING PRACTICUM

An introduction to instructional skills and strategies for assisting other students in writing, editing, and revising their work. This course is designed for students who would like to develop and practice editing and revision skills as well as those interested in exploring teaching, especially lawyering skills. Students participate in professional development activities tailored to developing the skill set necessary to provide feedback on legal writing, and they experience various approaches to teaching and learning. Once students have completed their training, they serve as teaching assistants, providing online feedback on writing samples their peers have submitted for review. Application and professor approval required.
