LEGAL DRAFTING
(LAWJ-8026) - 3 UNITS

This section of Legal Drafting is online. Students will learn both litigation and transactional drafting and will participate in a live class session for one hour once a week and complete two hours of asynchronous content each week. Students will draft four writing assignments throughout the semester--three litigation focused and one transactional focused--that will track the movement of a case through litigation. The course focuses on how to write clearly, concisely, and in plain English. It satisfies the upper division writing or experiential learning requirement.
