NEGOTIATIONS AND DRAFTING IN THE LAW AND BEYOND

This course explores the theories behind interest-based negotiation and provides opportunities to practice through simulated negotiations. It also addresses the equally important topic of how to memorialize the deal/agreement in writing. We will discuss and apply techniques to ensure the deal reflects the result of the bargain and is enforceable. The techniques and skills learned in this course will help in traditional and non-traditional legal settings.
