LAW AND SEXUALITY
(LAWI-4065) - 3 UNITS

This course explores the ways in which the law constructs and regulates sexuality. Topics covered include: ideological positions on sexuality, sexual orientation, and gender; transgender rights; the criminalization of sexual activity; antidiscrimination regimes addressing sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity; marriage and its alternatives; parents and children; sexual expression and speech; and LGBT youth.
