The focus will be on the creation and management of the practice, as well as emphasizing employment or business/investment based immigration, in particular: L-1 Intracompany Transfer visas for Executive/Managers and Specialized Employees, TN NAFTA Status for Canadian and Mexican Professionals, EB-1a Extraordinary Ability Green Cards and EB-5 Entrepreneur/Investor Green Cards. This also includes information about choosing an office space, dealing with technology, marketing, choosing a niche area of immigration law, communicating with clients, drafting contracts, where to look for answers to questions, how to track a case, ethics, billing, organizing a file, recommended professional associations, and other practical guides related to a Business or Employment-Based Immigration Practice.

Students will also learn how to complete several types of Employment/Business/Investment-Based Immigrant and Non-Immigrant Visas Petitions from start to finish.
