FASHION LAW
(LAWF-4056) - 3 UNITS

This course explores the everyday problems faced by fashion brands and surveys the fundamental areas of law a fashion lawyer must know to resolve those issues. Students will develop an understanding of topics relating to the fashion industry such as brand building (including licensing), celebrity endorsement and promotions, fashion financing, import/export rules and regulations, and intellectual property (including counterfeit). Current issues will be emphasized in class discussion.
