DEATH PENALTY LAW SEMINAR
(LAWD-4005) - 2 UNITS

This course will cover the history of the death penalty, arguments for and against the penalty and comparative statutory provisions. Class sessions will be augmented with actual participants in the process such as (schedules permitting) victim family members, jurors, prosecutors, defense counsel, mitigation specialists, and trial and appellate judges. The class will survey the process from the crime through the trial, appeal and habeas corpus.
