ADJUDICATIVE CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

This course covers the adjudicative aspects of criminal procedure; i.e., bail to jail. Subjects include: charging decisions, bail, grand jury and preliminary hearing, prosecutorial discretion, pretrial motions, discovery, plea bargaining, guilty pleas, speedy trial, jury selection, right to counsel, right of confrontation, jury trials, sentencing, appeals and double jeopardy.
