ACCOUNTING FOR LAWYERS
(LAWB-4005) - 2 UNITS

An introductory course for students with NO accounting education, training or experience. The course is not intended to teach law students how to be accountants, or how to do accounting analysis. The course is intended to give working lawyers an understanding of basic (and some so-called 'advanced') accounting concepts that arise in the day-to-day business of law (e.g., drafting contracts, preparing document requests, deposing financial and accounting experts, supporting claims for economic damages).
